You don't
have to be an engineer to use the STS. These lightweight, easy to use
calibrators are infinitely more accurate than hotplates and other alternative options
available for testing surface sensors. Often used right on the production floor
to verify sensors before, during, and after a shift, these instruments allow
you to remove doubt from your measurements. The STS Surface Transfer Standard line
of calibrators includes: the STS-SC1 (high temperature), and the STS-SC2
(mid-range), STS-SC2-4 (with 4” aluminum testing block), and STS-COOL (for low
temperature calibrations). EDL's calibrators are economical, easy to use, and
compact - they are the number one choice for surface calibrators on the market
today.
The
new STS-SC2-4 (with 4" Aluminum Testing Block) gives ample surface area
for easily and affordably calibrating virtually any size or shaped surface
sensor. With the improved surface area, the life of the block is greatly
extended and gives the user more room to test. The STS-SC2-4 offers a
temperature range of ambient to 350 °C and is ideal for testing sensors, digital
thermometers, dial gauges, and bulb switches. Shipped pre-programmed, the STS
is easy to use. Plug it in, set your temperature (wait a few minutes for the
unit to reach the set temperature & stabilize) and begin checking your
probes. STS calibrators use a high-quality controller and iTools is included
with your purchase. Units are available in both 120VAC and 240VAC versions. Helpful
