EDL's Rolling Roller Contact Sensors are designed specifically for use on Round, Rotating, or Stationary surfaces. This sensor has four bearings that track easily on diameters from 0.625" up to 8", which act as restrictor's that prevent excessive pressure to the thermocouple element. A Stainless Steel bow further supports the 0.005" band for long term durability. A Kapton coating is available to further eliminate any marring or scratching on your delicate cylindrical surfaces.
These sensors are available in a high temperature block or handle version - call for pricing, 800.432.5335 or 434.799.0807. All Rolling Roller Contact Surface Sensors come standard with a 32" lead with Stainless Steel Overbraid. Additional Lead and Termination options are available.
EDL’s Metrology Laboratory can supply any sensor and instrument complete with a report of calibration that is traceable to NIST. Add Calibration during checkout.
