The Extended Range Pocket-Probe® Pyrometer is ideal for Utilities, Glass Manufacturing, Metals, Chemicals, & Plastics Industries! The Long-Time Trusted Pocket-Probe® is Now Capable of Operation From -30 °C up to 72 °C (Ambient) - it will operate in temperatures you cannot!
EDL's continued focus on product development and dedication to manufacturing quality products have resulted in the newest addition to the Pocket-Probe® Pyrometer line. The new Extended Range Pyrometer was engineered with the user in mind. It operates in sub-zero temperatures and has proven to outperform other pyrometers in its’ class.
Extreme temperatures often have a dramatic impact on the performance of a typical pyrometer. Low temperatures can affect displays (not showing or reading correctly), cause sluggish performance, and repeatedly result in slow response times. Although many instrument manufacturers recommend against using their instruments outside in extreme cold weather, EDL's Pocket-Probe® Extended Range Pyrometer guarantees smooth functioning even in temperatures as low as -30 °F. Utilizing the new Pocket-Probe® Extended Range Pyrometer helps to avoid the aggravation of dealing with slow or non-functioning equipment in sub-zero conditions. This unit will remove the cost of lost production and sluggish performance, ideal for industries that must operate in extreme temperatures – utilities & gas, glass industry and any other area where extreme conditions exist.
Available in thermocouple types K, J, T, or E – this pyrometer has all of the same great features as the standard Pocket-Probe® and is also compatible with any mini-plug terminated sensor. Available with the optional shatterproof Lexan window display and Options Package (Peak Hold Memory, Peak Hold Reset, and Magnetic Mounting).
