Standard Needle Sensors are made using a 5/16" diameter ceramic handle with a Stainless-Steel insert and 32" long lead wire with Stainless Steel over braiding for maximum durability. Standard needles use full hard hypodermic grade stainless in the needle section. Low temperature needles are available to monitor temperatures up to 600 °F. Higher temperature needles are internally insulated with Magnesium Oxide (MgO) or Alumina packed, enabling use up to 2500 °F, depending on the thermocouple type.
* Max. Temperature for T is 400 °C.All EDL Surface Sensors come standard with a 32” lead with Stainless Steel Over-braid. Additional Lead and Termination options available. EDL’s Metrology Laboratory can supply any sensor and instrument complete with a report of calibration that is traceable to NIST. Add Calibration during checkout.
