EDL’s Mini-Salt Baths (MSB) are high temperature stirred liquid baths for calibrating a variety of sensors - all in a compact package. Available with Silicone Oil (part #: MSB-200-D) or Salt (part# MSB-500-D) depending on temperature range, the MSB is an excellent alternative to bulky floor model baths that require great volumes of expensive medium. All Mini-Salt Baths (MSB) feature an advanced stirring system which helps to ensure their high stability and uniformity. With a standard deviation of ± 0.005 K = 2, and compact 15” square footprint, these baths are well suited for use in the laboratory or may be placed on a cart for easy portability in the field. MSB's are easy to use and fast heating (greater than 2 °C per minute), allowing the user to calibrate numerous points throughout the work day. The large 13” deep tank provides sufficient depth to calibrate SPRTs and a variety of industrial thermometers and various thermocouples across a wide temperature range.
Mini-Salt Bath Calibrators (MSB) ship pre-programmed, and with two mounting plates on top of the bath. A support pole, sensor holder, and clip are included in your purchase. Available in either 120VAC or 240VAC, EDL will accommodate a cord configuration to match your home country’s power requirement. All baths are made in the USA and are tested for stability and uniformity before shipping. A NIST Traceable calibration certificate is included with your purchase.
